CaptVids Under New Management

Hello, viewers! This is Sebastian, volunteer for CaptVids.com. Unfortunately, Jeff can no longer update this site at the moment as he is very busy with school. That’s why he let me update this site from now on.

As some of you may have found out by now, the CaptVids YouTube account has sadly been suspended with all of its videos taken down. However, Jeff sent me almost all the caption files so that I can recover them at my overstream.net account. I’m also going to be editing their blog entires starting here. It’s going to take me quite a while, so please be patient.

Now, if you’re hearing and willing to caption videos, I highly encourage you to volunteer at the forums, since I’m pretty much the only active volunteer here. And keep those requests coming! :)

HOW TO VIEW CAPTIONS!
 If you want to view in captioned mode, simply press play, and then click the bottom right button on the video. Then click the CC symbol This preference SHOULD save. TRANSLATING! Click Captions, and then Translate Beta, and then choose English to whichever language. This is the same translation as if you put it into Google Translator, so it is not perfect.
PS: We do not make money from any ads on the actual videos. To increase caption size, type Shift +, to decrease type Shift -. Shift B will change the style of captions.
